1. Conversational Flow and idea exchange is prioritized over any speaker.
2. Any & every topic is open for discussion, but do not derail a discussion in progress. 
3. Address the argument not the person and do not straw-man. 
4. Teach or ask vs admonish. Sanctimony is not evidence. 
5. Lookout for hesitant voices (and mics opening to speak) and reflect before you react. 
6. Don’t interrupt, especially not for a rebuttal. 
7. Concise context is king; don’t filibuster
8. Patience in listening (if speaking, don’t test people patience.)
