How can we reconcile ourselves in a world that is inundated with social media? How can we foster connections in a world where we have become increasingly far removed from making the things we use everyday? Metamodernism is the answer to these and many more questions.  If you find yourself oscillating between the optimistic outlook of someone that could get a job right out of college with little to no debt and the exhausted nihilistic world view of a person that makes memes about their poor mental health and  remembers where they were on 9/11, this place is for you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️       If these ideas resonate with you I need all the help I can get with regard to building this concept out, i want people from every walk of life, every social class, religious folks, atheists… a core concept of Metamodernism is the idea that no one side is ever the “right” side and the odds that there are some good ideas on each side are pretty high. If everyone shared only one idea, their very best idea, it puts us miles ahead of the people stuck cheering nobly for their “team”
Be solution/big idea oriented : This is a big cultural concept and many of us are experiencing it already and don’t know it. The idea here is to learn to better recognize metamodern ideas and see how they can lead to a better world
Don’t be a d*ck: One of the core ideas is an exhaustion with the constantly sarcastic, negative, ironic attitude we find so prevalent these days. It’s safe to be genuine here, let those feelings flow
Have a sense of humor: When discussing tough ideas, humor is one of the best ways to keep people talking and ensure we leave here with a sense that things really are not so bad after all
