In Nepal, Chiya Pasal (Tea shops) are not only conceived as a mere place to drink tea but also as a place for gossiping about politics, geopolitics, sciences, philosophy etc., and so are judged to be an insignificant and time-passing place where people act as they are expert in every kind of knowledge but doesn’t miss a single chance to spread pseudo-science, fake news and rumours of all kind. Although they are innocently ignorant of their own ignorance and irrationality, their inescapable quest for knowledge and exploration of ideas share a common inspiration for this VCP (Virtual Chiya pasal).
This online Platform seeks to suffice the insatiable urge for knowledge and ideas in this country. Its YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter page shares scientific, political, philosophical and educational content and thought-provoking news, which aims to let people be more expressive on the rigorous grounds of rationality, ultimately promoting free thoughts. 
Nevertheless, if there is someone that has quoted our(VCP) inner essence,he is Socrates:

नेपालमा चिया पसललाई चिया पिउने ठाउँ मात्र नभई राजनीति, भूराजनीति, विज्ञान, दर्शन आदि विषयमा गफगाफ गर्ने ठाउँका रूपमा पनि परिकल्पना गरिएको छ, अझ यसलाई नगण्य र टाइमपास गर्ने ठाउँको रूपमा पनि लिने गरिएको छ। हुन त चिया पसलमा सबैले आफुलाई जुनसुकै क्षेत्रको विज्ञ र सर्बज्ञाता सोचे पनि झुटो-विज्ञान, नक्कली समाचार र सबै प्रकारका अफवाहहरू फैलाउने एउटा पनि मौका गुमाउँदैनन्। यद्यपि निर्दोष रूपमा तिनीहरू आफ्नै अज्ञानता र तर्कहीनताबाट अनभिज्ञ छन्, ज्ञानको लागि तिनीहरूको अपरिहार्य खोज र विचारहरूको अन्वेषण यस VCP (भर्चुअल चिया पासल) संग प्रगाड ढंगले मिल्दो जुल्द छ ।
