This club is intended to be a psycho educational space to learn about and discuss trauma and the ways it interacts with the justice, law enforcement, education, health and other systems in our society. Come to learn, share, and discuss the myriad ways trauma shows up in individuals, relationships, generations, and societies.
Take care of yourself: As a participant I will take responsibility for my feelings and reactions in this club. I will also take steps to take care of myself (such as leaving the room) if you feel overally stressed.
This room does not diagnose or treat trauma: I will not use this room as a replacement for therapy or other mental health, medical or professional services.
