Sickle Cell awareness is not where it needs to be. The amount of lives Sickle Cell disease affects, demonstrates just how much work needs to be done. Whilst in some parts of the world awareness and treatment is a big discussion, the general conversation is not at the level it should be. 
This club is here to create awareness on all things Sickle Cell...good, bad and everything in between. We cannot affect change without educating and that starts here. Informing our communities locally, nationally and internationally will deal with myth busting, discrimination and most importantly, correcting the narrative.
