🤗 Anyone interested in learning about the beautiful island of Mauritius and its history, cultures, and languages is welcome as well.

We encourage members to engage in a variety of topics related to Mauritius and its residents, and to the Mauritian diaspora including cultures, languages, history, food, music, the Séga dance, traditions, festivals, society, identity, education, architecture, travel, tourism, immigrant stories, life abroad, current events, social issues, the economy, politics, business and entrepreneurship, etc.

We welcome the use of all languages spoken in Mauritius in the rooms. For those who have been living abroad for several years and miss speaking Creole, this is the perfect opportunity to practice with Mauritian residents and learn new Creole slangs.

Start A Room : Members are welcome to start a room under the club. Please make sure that your room has a proper title and that the topic reflects the club’s values. ❌ selling but ☑️ talk about your work, art or club.
Be Kind and Courteous : Please be kind and courteous to everyone in the room. No bullying, no personal attacks, no hate speech. 
Clubhouse Room Etiquette : Please say your name when you start speaking and when you’re done. Please avoid interrupting each other, everyone on stage is given the opportunity to talk (in PTR order) so kindly wait for your turn.
