In today’s culture, being that black conservatives are the minority in thought, we have created this safe space for us to discuss our political, economic and socio-cultural views relevant to current events. What characteristics do conservatives embody and what is their underlying value system? What part do we play in society? How do we change the narrative? How do we move forward in unity? We will discuss all of that and more!
Respect the moderators and speakers: We do not insult people in this space. We give everyone a chance to make their point and we don’t slander or cut people off because we disagree. And we certainly never speak over women.
Share facts, not feelings: Emotional arguments have no place in an intellectual conversation. Everyone has an opinion, but can you back yours up with legitimate evidence?
Keep comments to 3min and rebuttals to 1min: Sharing is important and we want to hear from several people. Unless you are a moderator, keep your commentary concise. PTR and be mindful of others waiting to speak.
