🤝 The Club for rooms on everything absinthe. No other drink has such an amazing history. It grew & almost vanished through a series of accidents. It was created by Swiss women & then kept alive during the ban by more Swiss women. It was re-born when European Union bureaucrats re-legalised it by mistake (answering the question "What has the EU ever done for us?"). 

👂 Find out how it is made but don’t do this at home without the necessary licences. Discuss ways to enjoy absinthe in moderation. In drinks and in food, but never with fire! There is a meme that "Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder," but, because the drinks authorities say we cannot associate drinking with sexual or social success, we will not use it (well, not again). 

🗣 Talk with absinthe and cocktail lovers: famous mixologists have said that absinthe can enhance almost any cocktail: who are we to argue with them? Talk with distillers, would-be distillers, bar owners, bartenders, writers, bloggers & those who are curious (but remember what killed the cat).

🛠 This Club has been started by Alan Moss (co-owner of a craft absinthe business) who will be delighted to share the limelight and discussion with others making, selling and serving  absinthe or with those who love this special spirit.

🧑🏻‍🎤 Currently hosting The ‘’Green Hour” around 5:00 pm UK time some Sundays.  We will celebrate the original Green Hour (the grandfather of all Happy Hours) during which mathematically challenged Parisians happily drank absinthe for two hours.
