Respect the reading material 📚: This clubhouse is all about books for us with us in mind. We believe that like Black People, Black Literature is not monolithic. The book list is curated purposely to center abolition and Blackness.
Respect the mic 🎙 : Those who’re book club leaders and moderators are trusted to guide the conversation. They make sure things are civil but use proper mic etiquette. 
Respect this Clubhouse ❤️🖤💚: This is a safe space for Black folks. If you’re a white person or non-black poc, it doesn’t mean that this space isn’t for you but if you’re going to join, be a participant that actively listens.
