Science is slowly presenting the evidence of how trauma affects us mentally and physically (brain, immunity, addiction, epigenetics) and intergenerationally.  When we are on the journey of recovery / healing sometimes we lose hope. This happens because “our trauma is continuously whispering LIES to us”. Let’s help each other by sharing our “thriving” stories! Please don’t forget that the trauma recovery process takes times. Sometimes you might feel you are starting again from ground zero. However, trauma recovery is like a tornado or an onion. We sometimes need to return back and to heal ourselves from different angles and with different and varied modalities. Let’s celebrate each other our survival and our strength and our existence!
