Hallo! 👋 Willkommen zu News in Slow German. In this space, the conversation is geared towards BEGINNER and INTERMEDIATE learners. And, you guessed it, we only speak in slow German.

The format of our club is rather unusual🕵️‍♂️🔎 Each session is dedicated to brainstorming solutions to real-world problems like immigration, traffic, climate change, wars, inequality, education and many others 📰🗃

We welcome ideas that can’t quite be implemented today, but who knows...put your stake in the ground and history may remember you as a visionary!💡🧙‍♂️ We also love funny ideas, crazy ideas, and satirical ones.

All humans are welcome here, however we are BEGINNER and INTERMEDIATE focused. If you just want to listen, that’s ok too. We hope you feel like talking next time.

Just raise your hand! The discussion can be serious or just for fun – from visionary all the way to sarcastic. We stress the importance of just *saying it*, rather than saying it perfectly.

Our goal is for everyone to freely think and speak in German, so be kind to yourself and other members. No correction, bullying or discrimination is allowed. You can swear, as long as it’s in German…😉
