The Church of God in Christ (COGIC) is a Pentecostal–Holiness Christian Non-Liturgical denomination. COGIC is the largest Pentecostal denomination in the United States boating 6.5 million members worldwide. Although an international and multiethnic religious organization, it has a predominately African-American membership in the United States. The international headquarters is located in Memphis, Tennessee. The current presiding bishop is Bishop John Drew Sheard, who is the senior pastor of Greater Emmanuel Institute Church of God In Christ.
