Born Filmmaker My first feature film 'DASTOOR' Trailer Link @insta bio https://vimeo.com/537374845 Dastoor is a documentary shot around the 2019 elections focusing on the day-to-day lives of people living in and around Thane station. The film focuses on various aspects of lives and the varying degrees of attitudes to the street life. There is no fiction here but a bare capturing of reality as it happens, and the reality by itself mirrors the larger concern as its happening in the backdrop of the elections as it raises pivotal questions. I am a Mumbai based Malayali, a Mass media graduate from S.K Somaiya College who is deeply passionate about the films of Joris Ivens. The life-changing moment for me was attending the 'History and aesthetics of Early World Cinema' workshop conducted by Jethu Mundul at the Kochi Biennale. Have directed various theater plays like 'Master's Chest' ,'The Wall', 'Yatr' ,'Dear Cow". Also worked in many capacities in the world of Television as Task producer,co-writer,etc. The passion that holds me is dealing with forms related to time, space & rhythm. And cinema has been my sole reason for existence since a long time. In the business of making movies, I have assisted Roshan Andrews 'in films like Kayamkulam Kochunni' & ' Prathipoovankozhi'. You would occasionally find me shooting press junkets for Netflix, or directing a music video for your friend or shot dividing a sequence. But most of my energies are invested in my upcoming project development.
