While I worked with Kuzui Enterprises in Tokyo late 80’s, I was in charge of distributing, marketing and publicizing American independent films, such as Stop Making Sense and D.O.A. Sex Pistols, in Japan. After I moved to the US late 90’s, I started my own sales rep & distribution company who distributed Japanese films in North America. Now I am focusing on international distribution of Asian and other independent films plus developing international film projects. Right now, I am working for Sekigawa’s classic HIROSHIMA, Hayashi’s TO SLEEP SO AS TO DREAM, Funahashi’s LOVERS ON BORDERS and Miyazaki’s VIDEOPHOBIA.
