It all started in 1998. I was asked to work at my uncles top New Jersey beauty salon, “First Impressions”. Not knowing it then but this would be the beginning of my journey into the hair industry. My passion for hair was not strong in the beginning but I was thrusted into a fast-paced business where there was not any time to sulk. In 2000 I realized I hit a ceiling and decided to take my talents to Atlanta Georgia and began my career as a Cosmetologist! Needless to say, I took to hair like a fish to water. My enjoyment is transforming a person’s idea into the look they desire or helping them find a look using my creativity. ​Hi, I am Chesere and I am a Master Cosmetologist with 20 years of experience. I enjoy working with clients to create unique looks. My ideas and creativity over years was not available to all my clients so I started Tyler James Hair Collection. I create custom wigs for women who suffered from hair loss and wanted a change in hairstyles. I wanted to provide an alternative from wearing extensions that added tension to their hair. My desire was to give all my clients the same opportunity to try new styles and feel confident in each look. From short edgy cuts to bobs or curls, I’ve done it all! My work over the years have been backed by my passion for the hair industry and my love for helping people feel amazing about themselves.
