Founder/CEO of BESTofLEGACY since 6/2004. Prior to launching BESTofLEGACY Mr. Melet founded Kettera Software. For six+ years Kettera capitalized on its patented "AskBox” software which allowed websites like Nordstrom to interact with customers -- without the infamous pop-ups, page reloads and links to unwanted secondary pages, all typically associated with Web surfing. Melet sold Kettera in 2005 to eBay. He started Kettera when the family entrepreneurial calling overtook his passion for the 10 year broadcast journalism career Melet had been enjoying. It included stints in 6 TV markets -- ranging from Savannah, GA to ABC World News Tonight with Peter Jennings in NYC, to an unforgettable 1992 Presidential primary season at CBS News, Washington DC. At age 24, Melet’s reputation as a tenacious journalist landed him a job as the youngest news anchor in the nation’s 38th largest market. Melet graduated from University of Michigan and is an alum of the nation’s most prestigious journalism fellowship, the Washington Center for Politics and Journalism. He and his wife are raising two young children in San Francisco.
