As a Library Director, I spend my life surrounded by books and teaching others the value of accurate information. Personally, I have been greatly impacted by the stories of others, I’ve had my life changed, learned the value of being vulnerable and authentic on the path to understanding my true self. I journal, but I never consider it writing or true storytelling. There are so many stories inside that I want to learn to share. I do believe that the difficulties I have experienced in life have happened so that I can have a more empathetic and compassionate understanding of others and perhaps, if given a chance, can help them in some way. Looking forward to this opportunity for growth.
