Indigenous sovereignty and knowledge are ways to decolonize both people and the colonial-capitalist economy. An organizer of Little Creek Camp (resistance to the Dakota Access Pipeline), Indigenous@SOCAP, the first Iowa Indigenous political engagement summit, the removal of white supremacist monuments in Iowa, and the concept of Truthsgiving. I’m a speaker, an artist and published writer. In Iowa and beyond, I volunteer for other organizations and work with a large network of changemakers across Turtle Island.
