I am currently a graduate student studying International Relations at the University of Cambridge, and a Young Leader Fellow at the Pacific Forum, where I am researching great power competition in Southeast Asia. I’ve previously worked for the United Nations 🇺🇳, the U.S. State Department, and as a U.S.-based correspondent for the Yomiuri Shimbun, Japan’s largest newspaper. My work primarily focuses on policy issues relating to North Korea, Myanmar, and Japan.
