The United States is sacrificing the future for the present. The Chinese are sacrificing the present for the future. 1. Put a 30% tariff on all Goods entering the United States. 2. Eliminate all corporate taxes. 3. Bring back manufacturing. When President Nixon went to China in 1972, it had a gross national product of around 100 billion US dollars. Today, China's GNP is 19 trillion dollars US. US companies that do business in China have a Chinese partner. Not only did we ship factories and equipment, we agreed to share technology and research and development with China. The Chinese help themselves to our intellectual property. What do we get? Covid-19, which cost US 14 trillion dollars and over a million lives. To my knowledge, the Chinese have yet to say, "we're sorry." One of the smartest things the American people have done in my lifetime was hire Donald Trump. Finally, we have a president who's not just thinking about the next election cycle. A little discomfort now will ensure America's continued prosperity.
