I am a Indian bansuri (bamboo) flute player from the southern Indian state of Tamilnadu. I have been blind since birth. ——————————— In 2013, I appeared on ‘Champions’, the television talent show on India’s Sun TV, where I came runner up. ——————————— I have worked with the UK’s Inner Vision Orchestra - performing in the UK and India (London Southbank Centre, Mumbai Royal Opera House and others) and UK digital artists Addictive TV and their project Orchestra of Samples. ———————————— I studied music at the Tamil Nadu Government Music College but actually only studied vocals there and I am completely self-taught on the flute. My love of Carnatic classical music, Hindustani and Western classical has taken me to many festivals all over India, performing on my many many bansuri flutes! ————————————- I perform at corporate events, religious ceremonies and weddings and also teach.
