TikTok- @paigedulaney โœ๏ธ Iโ€™m an ex-school teacher who grew up on a ranch, but joined my husband on the farm full time. ๐Ÿ„ ๐ŸŒฝ There are so many changes coming at agriculture these days. When youโ€™re in the day-to-day trenches the last thing most think to do is educate and spread awareness to consumers about what weโ€™re facing and how it will effect them. I truly believe that most consumers donโ€™t want some of the changes that are being proposed these days, but without adequate knowledge they hop on a fad full of hope of changing the world. ๐Ÿšœ Iโ€™d love to meet others in the production agriculture industry, discuss upcoming changes, spread awareness to consumers, and preserve our food supply in the process. Being offensive instead of defensive is my goal! ๐Ÿซ In the past I was a huge advocate for change in the education system. The above Student Centered Accountability Project link is a pilot project where several districts across CO are building a new model for evaluating schools and districts. They are more than a score. ๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿผ I believe kids should be independent ready by 18, not โ€œcollege and career readyโ€. Kids need exposure and tools to effectively navigate the changing world they will encounter, and be adaptable to challenges that life poses taking them to various careers and places. ๐Ÿฅ HELLP survivor and preeclampsia awareness advocate.
