The way people fight over identities that grants them no more security, stability nor protection here nor there in the face of white-globalcolonial-modernity, helped me make peace with being a nameless nothing. For these meaningless wars to prove you are something, only reaffirm to me the meaninglessness of it all. My fight is to become that experience which words can only betray and never fully articulate. So don’t let the value of your identity be measured by who your not, what you are separate from, or who and what you hate. I hope the way you experience yourself in connection with the world and cosmos, that which I call identity. Is as beautiful as your favorite fairytale, measured by its ability to wonder and experience what it loves. Let them say it’s unrealistic, atleast it is your fantasy. For our devotion to realism is why we made this shared nightmare which is nothing more than someone’s else’s fairytale real. Those calling you unrealistic and delusional are themselves seeking asylum from the reality we collectively made true.
