I am a marine biologist, conservation scientist, and teacher. Through our organization One People One Reef, I work collaboratively with Indigenous people in the western pacific to co-create knowledge around coral reef health and management. We combine Western science with traditional practice to put conservation tools and knowledge to work for ecosystems and the people who rely on them. I also teach at Cabrillo college and lead field programs for Wildlanda studies. I am a fellow national at the explorers club and an associate at the California Academy of Sciences. I am passionate about inclusive solutions for conservation progress!
