I have taught in a number of inner-city schools for over 25 years,I am a trustee of Blue Print (formerly the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust) for the past 15 years. I introduced Architecture to the curriculum, in my present school approximately 15years ago winning various Open House competitions and being honoured as "Open House Teacher of the Year". For one of my initiatives, Celebrating Architecture, which I started up to recognise the work of young talented Non-Traditional and Traditional students at Graveney School. Guest speakers at the awards have included Baroness Doreen Lawrence, Professor Chris Wise and Wayne Hemingway, alongside some of the most prestigious national and international architectural practices for example, HOK, and Populus. I have been a guest speaker at RIBA events encouraging teachers to deliver architecture in the classroom; I am an Arkwright interviewer for a prestigious engineering scholarship at Imperial College and Cambridge University. I have organised and coordinated a Brutalist photography exhibition in collaboration with the London Festival of Architecture. I developed and implemented a successful initiative called GLAM (GUCCI, LOUIS VUITTON, ARCHITECTURE & ME), supported and sponsored by RIBA, Architecture Foundation, and Karakusevic Carson. GLAM is a creative fusion between fashion and architecture, focusing on sustainable wearable architecture. This Summer 'GLAM GOES GLOBAL' summer ball'.  will be delivered in even more countries, North and South America, Caribbean, Asia, Europe and throughout the UK. More recently. I have been awarded the NLA (New London Architecture) Hidden Hero award and A ‘Lifetime Award’ by Sound Advice. Please email [email protected] [email protected] t @NeilPinder5 LinkedIn Neil Pinder
