If you start your life in darkness, shadows on the wall are your only reality. For those who know the darkness too well, I create art that brings attention to vital and urgent issues through the lense of personal stories. Basically, I am pawing in the dark and feeling for what is real. Making it Fly I like to call my style Spraycanalism- it’s very graphic but was born from a need to create something that could communicate real life, so there’s a lot of realism in my work too. I mix traditional painting techniques with blending methods that are more common in graffiti and street art. That comes from my background; ‘making my mark’ underneath overpasses, alleyways, and inside countless Boston tunnels.
