Michael Burton Biography Founder of Pursue it Again LLC. Currently creating my first NFT collection. I am an experienced designer, illustrator, creative writer, cancer survivor, and Chicago native. I have been passionate about art since the age of 4.  My late father Michael Burton Sr. fueled my interest and inspiration in the basement of our home playing in live bands and drawing demonstrations. I attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago to study figure drawing, design, and illustration; enabled me to meet and get to know world-renown illustrators/creators Thomas Blackshear, Douglas Klauba, and Alex Ross, who recruited me to model scenes for the DC comic book Batman War on Crime. The experience solidified my decision to pursue a career as an illustrator. I continued to hone my skills working as an illustrator and graphic designer for a decorated apparel company for numerous years. During that time, I also taught drawing classes, created and self-published my first book; an illustrated memoir titled “Let Me Paint a Picture; My Life, Growth, and Testimony'', and recently finished my BA program for Graphic Design and Media Arts at SNHU 2021. Some of my selected clients include CPS (Chicago Public Schools), IHSA (Illinois High School Association) Athletic Tournaments, PHIT organization’s youth camp program, Chicago Bears team member Brian Urlacher, large church organizations such as Christ Universal Temple & Trinity Church in Chicago, and many Chicago Public Libraries throughout Chicagoland.
