Hi. My name is Martin Sørnes. Since 2006 I have been working on the new way to test hearing. We still test hearing almost the same way today as in the birth of audiology in the years after WW2. Just to be able to collect the big data, will mean a huge step forward for audiology. I guess we can uncover about 30-40 new disorders just from this. Another point is that we test hearing with earphones, if we test hearing in free field we get the actual way people hear. That way also the outer ear effects comes in to play, which is very important for directional hearing. I believe that we need a new audiometry. And I got the device that can become the new standardization for audiometry. Two people with the exact same hearing thresholds can have a totally different speech intelligibility score in noise. We need clinical tests for this, for everyone. Hearoll Medical is ready to develop the new standardization for audiometry. Allowing all 430m people with disabling hearing loss in the world to get a more accurate and relevant measurement of their hearing. And allowing audiologists to test alleged new features of hearing aids clinically, which is, believe it or not, not an option today. Hearoll medical will launch the first product, approx one year from initial investment, a clinical speech in noise test equipment, that alone will improve audiology. In a five year time-span we will develop the new standardization for audiology, using the industrial metaverse for development, and using both professionals and user organizations as consultants. This will release the expected +$175m TAM for audiometers by 2028. Looking for angels to lift us off the ground before going for venture capital/grants. Work on things people can't take away from you! Things like mindset, character, personality, transparency, your entire being. -Anonymous
