I am “MAMU” Brenda Elizabeth Henry, a 59 years young, retired widow, mother of four and grandmother of five. President and CEO of established, not yet developed, We Are Saved By Grace, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit care facility intended for low-income and neglected African American veteran, civilian, disabled and homeless senior citizens. Graduate of the all-male, Alexander Graham Bell Vocational Career Development High School, The Diesel Institute of America and Prince George’s Community College where I earned an Associate’s degree in Business Management. I retired after 33 years of employment from (WMATA) Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority experienced in the positions of Bus Cleaner, Dispatcher, Preventative Maintenance Task Force crew member, Diesel Mechanic, Division Safety Officer, Summer Youth Director, Maintenance Garage Office Manager and Bus Reliability & Warranty Technical Support Clerk. I am also author of, The Events Of My Life Are My Proof Of God’s Existence published by Newman Springs and An Unfair Shake: The Confusion Of A Black Granddaughter published by TBN (Television Broadcasting Network). I’m an activist for Love, Kindness, Giving and Care targeting poor elderly African American seniors who deserve to live and die well.
