I am a lifelong animal, nature, and dog lover. Started training dogs professionally at a dog training school in 1972 and have been working with dogs in different capacities since then. I have worked as an assistant trainer, private trainer, veterinary technician, kennel personnel, shelter worker, private rescue fostering, animal control officer, wildlife rehabilitater, and am currently teaching puppy classes, family dog classes, agility, and nosework at a canine training facility since 2003. I am a lifelong learner, have a good sized library of canine training, behavior, and physiology books, and am a seminar/webinar addict. Passed my CPDT-KA certification in 2009. Always looking to add to my knowledge and love listening to good conversations about any of the above. So much new learning from 1972 to now, in 2022!!! I have multiple dogs, (6 pit bull terriers and a smallish mix) several of whom are learning and/or competing in agility, nosework, rally obedience, canine watersports, and Happy Ratters/Barnhunt. Love socializing and hiking with likeminded folks and their dogs. 🇺🇸
