In 2004, I received my Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in poetry at the University of Virginia. My poetry book, The Animated Universe, was just published by Peepal Tree Press in the UK. As a poetry activist, I’ve been profiled in the New York Times for my innovative pop up poetry curations that I unleashed all over NYC, along with some of the city’s top performance poets. I do independent film work sometimes. I was once hired by Russell Simmons to produce 50 poetry videos for his All Def Poetry digital platform. My camera crew filmed poets performing on the streets of New York City. In 2020, I formed a spiritual advising/wellness team, The Aspirant Agency of Intuitive Talents.
