As a 3rd generation electrical contractor and integrator, I am on a mission to disrupt the construction industry. With extensive experience in ultra-luxury residential, commercial and hospitality projects in NYC and Los Angeles, my frustration with the process was escalating. The pandemic provided a turning point as I was able to take the time to reflect upon the inefficient, broken system which resulted in projects that were over-budget and behind schedule, most often with disappointing outcomes. I realized that being a part of this system wasn’t actually using my strengths to their fullest extent, nor was I adding the value that I had the potential to offer. As I reached my breaking point, I decided to shift my focus and do things differently. It didn’t take long for me to realize that my unique perspective and in-depth experience with electrical and technology integration and design insights, enables me to be the expert’s expert with the big-picture perspective required to understand how to restructure the framework for successful projects. As a consultant, technology system designer and problem-solver, I have an unconventional approach that results in what I like to call “Beyond Lifestyle” outcomes in the projects I take on as a lead player on design teams. Through my field experience, I learned to speak fluently and translate the 14 most common construction languages* so the atmosphere on the job sites is efficient, communicative and cooperative which goes a long way in terms of budget, timelines and productivity.
