Chronic illness changes capacity—not your worth, voice, purpose, or ability to build a meaningful life. I’m Imani Jodee’, founder and curator of Thriving Audaciously—a home created especially for women of faith 35+ navigating chronic illness, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, and the realities of changing ability. My work lives at the intersection of chronic illness, faith, identity, self-love, advocacy, accessibility, research, and real life. Thriving Audaciously’s main focus is women living with chronic illness, but the conversations reach beyond that. I care deeply about making space for people living with chronic conditions, pain, disability, and changing capacity to feel seen, heard, supported, and included. Because sometimes the hardest part isn’t only what your body is carrying. It’s trying to live, work, advocate for yourself, and still hold on to who you are in spaces that don’t always understand what you need. I create spaces where women can feel seen without being pitied, supported without being pressured, and encouraged to rebuild identity, honor their capacity, advocate for themselves, and create lives that reflect who they are becoming. Around here, we talk honestly about changing capacity, grief, joy, rest, boundaries, relationships, purpose, leadership, advocacy, accessibility, and what it means to thrive when life doesn’t unfold the way you expected. I’m especially interested in conversations around: 🌿 Chronic illness, chronic pain + identity 💜 Self-love beyond the buzzwords 🗣️ Advocacy + being heard ♿ Accessibility, disability + changing ability 🙏🏾 Faith without spiritual pressure 🪴 Rest, capacity + sustainable living ✨ Women, leadership + purpose 🏡 Meaningful community + belonging 📚 Research translated into real life I bring together lived experience, practical research, faith, advocacy, and honest conversation to explore what thriving can actually look like when your body requires a different pace.
