This Anthropologist/Mermaid has been a stealth Seeker and hard-won teller of wisdom stories. Propelled at 16 into 40 years of international voyaging, beginning as as a fine-artist, (m.f.a) doc filmmaker (Emmy), intrepid journalist for European and U.S radio (Ernst Schneider prize) & generally a too-curious cat. My business card for a long time, said ‘ trouble-maker.’ For many years, I became a dedicated mom to the-one-son, World- schooling him and creating curriculum for each country, training him as an acrobat, intrepid Rock climber, cold water swimmer, dancer in nature :) caretaker of sustainable agriculture and musician. We lived between Big Island and Berlin. Six years ago, I also became the caretaker/CEO of my dad’s Legacy when he passed @90, his 107 year old wholesale magic company, my since-childhood heritage. Went back to the roots, swimming between B-right-on Beach and Coney island, as well daily encouraging ALL the peeps, to move their body and be in or near these healing waters. I also shot a poetic film on the body practices of elder-athletes in this biosphere. A play on ‘these times’ was written by Andrea Stolowitz and apparently I’m a character in it. Make me tell you Stories! There are 10,000 of them, with a special one for each person. The one/son is now in college and I am quite proud of his choices. This year 2023! will be dedicated to reconfiguring my talents and applying where needed in this world, as well beginning to make public my personal archive of digital and visual media.
