Nubian Newborns ™️ is visibility to the unseen. Becoming a mom I knew I would have a lot of battles to fight bringing a black son earth side. I didn’t know that a huge lack of representation in the baby industry would be a battle I felt a strong urge to fight. Disappointed in the almost non existent selections in store and online, I decided to create what I wished existed. Nubian Newborns™️ was created to provide essentials that reflect and celebrate the beauty of black babies. A lack of exposure to positive representation is a leading cause of low self esteem and behavioral issues in black children as they grow. I plan to solve this issue by creating quality baby essentials, nursery decor, and educational tools for black children that affirm, build, and honor them from birth.
