I survived childhood sexual and physical abuse, being shot in the head at point blank range, and stabbed multiple times(left near death)...I was beat viciously with baseball bats by angry drug dealers, I experienced homelessness (often hiding behind dumpsters in shame), and sleeping in abandonded buildings. Moreover, the consequences of my addiction often landed me in jails, institutions, and rehabs(trying to break free from drug addiction). I also experienced many other tragic and mysterious events and disrupted relationships before a very powerful spiritual experience freed me from "drug" addiction. After God delivered me from the obsession to use drugs, I (with the help of a few mentors I trusted) conducted an honest, rigorous, and painstaking introspective look at myself...I became completely proactive and responsible for myself, I forgave myself, I forgave EVERYONE who hurt me or I perceived hurt me, and most importantly I made amends to all those I hurt...I STOPPED BLAMING and stopped being the victim. In 2006, I decided to go back to school. My journey through school took 9 years full time on campus at 3 different colleges. Through hard and relentless work, I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA the entire time in school...In addition, I became a certified fitness trainer operating my own business while undertaking my journey through school.
