To save ALL life on planet earth, we must STOP the use of ALL fossil fuels!!! **Must STOP Taxpayer Subsidies to the Fossil Fuel Industries!!! **Use Carbon Fee and Dividend NOW!!! *Switch to electric stoves and water heaters!!! *Switch to electric heat pumps or radiant heat systems!!! A Solar Panel on every roof! A small Wind Turbine on every roof! **Geothermal & Wave technology! *We ALL must be driving EVs and/or electric bikes, scooters, motorcycles. **VOTE for and push elected officials to invest in and support these changes!!! ** RECYCLE ** ***Compost our food scraps=safest way to fertilize & nourish our soils!!! Protect our oceans from being used like a garbage can! Stop mass industrial fishing. No deep ocean mining. If we want human life to survive and thrive, we must appreciate and respect our planet and its resources and not exploit them!!! Just because we CAN do something doesn’t mean that we SHOULD do that something, *** It’s not just a matter of what we do but HOW we do it!!! *** BIGGER is not always better! We must consider the consequential effects of our good intentions. I believe that respect is a DECISION. If we DECIDE to respect one another as we want to be respected, then all good things and all good changes are possible. A woman’s uterus is not government property!!! Per the Netflix documentary: Brave Blue World, discovered the concept of using algae, farmed from the processing of wastewater at sanitation plants. This algae is converted into methane, and used in place of gasoline. It is being done in Spain, and we can do this too! Also, am keen on the idea of using hemp as a substitute for making plastics, natural fabrics and as a biomass fuel. *Imagine-no more petroleum plastics! Seems the good thing about growing hemp, is that it adds nutrients back to the soil!!! And, it is an excellent source of vitamins and protein for the human diet. Cactus, mushrooms & many other plants & organic matters can replace the use of animal or fossil fuels. Perhaps we can generate clean electric power just by driving on our highways! Rutgers University is doing research with piezoelectric transducers in pavement to capture traffic pressure to generate electricity. Rutgers is also researching several other energy harvesting technologies that can be applied to our roadways. Very enthusiastic about these promising concepts & checking on their progress. Grateful that with Clubhouse, we can share many wonderful ideas, and solutions.
