My career can be defined by my willingness to embrace change. Currently, my work is in hospitality but I’m also a writer. It’s where guest relations meet the storyteller. And for years my background was in Corporate Security. One could say that my life has been an evolution of change. As a U.S. Navy veteran I proudly served for 8 years. Blessed to have visited places in Europe, Asia and beyond. It was my perfect beginning. I then built a 30 year career in the private sector, specializing mostly in corporate security. It was truly an honor working at One World Trade Center. It was both memorable and heartfelt. My drive has always been to envision what’s possible. When I initially retired, my expectations were of closure. Instead, I found a new beginning through entertainment by pursuing acting roles before focusing on screenwriting. I’ve written multiple short subject and feature-length screenplays. Writing remains an active part of my life. I then decided why not give the private sector another try. Today, my work is Hospitality Sales at Rockefeller Center. My job showcases the passion I have to promote one of New York City’s most iconic destinations. Marketing their brand allows me to blend both creativity with guest engagement with emphasis on a customer-first mindset.
