As the Head of Circular Economy at Gobi Partners, a Pan-Asian venture capital firm with US$1.2 billion in assets under management, Carlo leads investments in innovative companies that champion sustainability. As industries continue to be disrupted by new technologies as well as sustainability, Carlo focuses on looking for business opportunities at the intersection of these two trends and supporting the entrepreneurs who will realise them. Previously as a social entrepreneur, Carlo’s work as the Country Director of Waves For Water Philippines (W4W), a non-profit providing access to clean water, impacted one million Filipinos. Carlo was recognized with the Development Award and the Bayanihan Award from the President of the Philippines, as well as a Top 30 under 30 innovator by numerous publications, including Forbes. Carlo is currently the Co-Chair of the Global Shapers Climate Action Steering Committee at the World Economic Forum, and a Circular Economy Pioneer at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. As an avid adventurer and a fan of Patagonia’s philosophy, Carlo supports direct action environmental groups in his free time
