Leo Bridgewater Sr. was born and raised in Trenton NJ. An Army Specialist who served multiple tours in Iraq, and directly under notable leaders such as, then Lt. General David Patreaus and Admiral Mike Mullens. Leo has also worked for the Dept. of the Army at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. in telecommunications and logistics. After learning that multiple veteran friends took their own lives by suicide, Leo became an activist for PTSD treatment. Leo’s advocacy has led him to testify in state and federal Senate Committee hearings on the subject of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and he has successfully worked to pass legislation for additional recognition and coverage of medical treatment options. As National Director of Veterans Outreach with Minorities 4 Medical Marijuana (M4MM), Leo was recognized in 2019 as The International Cannabis Awards Activist of the Year, and one of Yahoo’s 65 Outstanding Black and Hispanic Male Leaders in the Cannabis Industry. Leo looks to be a vessel by which the Cannabis/Hemp industry works through globally. Leo is married to Dr. LaShona Bridgewater PhD and has two children: Leo Jr. 14 and Langston 4. C21H30O2 C21H26O2
