Dr. G Landry is a well-known community activist, teacher, counselor, author, ordained minister and highly sought-after authority on the topic of homelessness. Unlike others, she was not about to sit by as the homeless and disenfranchised of Los Angeles languished before her, so she decided to do something about it. But the homeless on the hard streets of L.A. would not trust just anyone! She had to find a way to to crack their tough exterior. So she filled a bucket of water, got on her hands and knees, and began to wash their feet! The events that followed are thrilling! “The homeless woman sat down in the chair smoking drugs! With a crack pipe in her right hand and a lighter in the left, she was loud and obnoxious. But once she put her feet into the bucket of water, as Dr. Landry prayed it was all over for her. By an unseen force, the pipe flew out of her hand in one direction, and the lighter in another. That day God delivered her of drug addiction and she began to cry uncontrollably.” From there Dr. Landry’s community programs took flight and expanded from an entire city block of services in Los Angeles to cities across the nation and on to London, England, St. Thomas, St. Croix , Hatti, Belize and Africa. Today Dr. Landry provides counseling to those in need. She also goes to the streets of CALIFORNIA during the Pandemic providing mask to those living outdoors during Covid-19. She also provides food cards and bottled water so that they may get a bite to eat. Other services includes providing durning cold months blankets, hats, gloves, scarves and socks. Period packs for ladies. Durning hot months sun hats, sun screen, ice, bottled water, deodorant, soap, towels, socks, period packs for the ladies. This is her life mission. Today on her birthday before she joined Clubhouse she went to the streets and passed out gifts to the people letting them know it was her birthday and she wanted them to be blessed. And they were.
