My latest, HIS, HERS, OURS, has been bought by Lifetime Network and be under the TERRY MCMILLAN PRESENTS: banner premiering in fall of 2025, starring Taye Diggs, Lesley Ann Brandt and Aimee Garcia. My previous indie feature was also bought by the Lifetime, titled TERRY MCMILLAN PRESENTS: FOREVER starring Taye Diggs and Meagan Good. So proud of this film. My produced credits are on IMDB. Have many, many other scripts which were either bought or optioned that have never been produced, two of those made the original Blacklist of best unproduced projects for that year. WGA and WGC. I’m a producer (exec. producer on HIS, HERS, OURS) on seven of the films I’ve had made and worked as an actor as well (actually made a modest living at it the year before the writing took off - thank you, GENERAL HOSPITAL, where I had a small recurring role for about eight months, as well as a few other film and TV acting jobs that year… As much as I find acting terrifyingly satisfying, I think the universe made a wise decision steering me towards writing.) I’ve had some success as a novelist which I have been focusing on, with ten novels published. My novel, HONEYMOON WITH HARRY, is getting the big screen treatment, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Levin Costner signed on to star for Amazon/MGM. Filming begins in Feb. of 2026. I wrote two sequels to HONEYMOON WITH HARRY. My latest novel, BITCHES GET STITCHES released in June of 2025, and I am busy writing the second book in that trilogy, BITCHES GIVE STITCHES. I also wrote the CORDON FINN VENGEANCE series: I PROMISE YOU PAIN, A BRUTAL MIX OF BLOOD AND GOLD. and HUMAN WRECKAGE. And a graphic novel I co-authored, THE SACRED BAND OF THEBES, will publish in June/July of 2025. My professional writing career began in the theater. I’ve had eight plays produced around the world. Film rights to my play, RELAY, were purchased by Warner Bros. after a successful run in Los Angeles. Been blessed to make a living writing for 40 years. Love what I do for a living. Plus I have two sons and they are expensive. But what I am most proud of is being the dad of my sons. My family is my world. My sons are black, my husband is Puerto Rican, I’m white. When we show up, we are the diversity. I’m an aging bodybuilder/gym rat and competitive swimmer. That’s what keeps me sane.
