My name is Anya Nicola, and I’m a mental health warrior. Initially, I returned to my love of writing to strengthen my healing process. Since then, I’ve evolved into a freelance writer full-time, paving a way to be very outspoken about advocating and supporting mental health issues. In 2020, in addition to my emerging writing career, I became the driving force and Creative Director behind As Told By Anya. A versatile source for content creation, consulting and management. ATBA is dedicated to amplifying the often unheard stories of marginalized BIPOC communities. Earlier this year I founded a nonprofit organization called The ICC - Inner Child Curative Inc. The ICC is a place of healing. Any healing is a process that we want to assist our clients with; this is what makes us a curative organization. Inner Child Curative (The ICC) is a rural non-profit organization providing support and emergency resources to BIPOC Families in the community for a successful transition to enhanced living.
