Andrea is a doctoral student studying Counselor Education and Supervision. Andrea is a licensed clinician in the state of Illinois as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). In the state of Indiana, she is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Andrea’s area of expertise includes parenting, ADHD, trauma, behavioral disorders, clinical supervision, diversity, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, at-risk youth, and self-care. Andrea founded Brave Spaces for ADHD after her son was diagnosed with ADHD. For Andrea, parenting became a battle with stressful days and tearful nights, only to receive limited resources that focused on the parents’ experience raising an ADHDer. Passion was birthed out of a need for practical strategies to improve parents' mental and emotional health while finding support, community and resources for parenting ADHD.
