An Aussie in Sydney. My background, I am the Manager of Public Affairs at the NSW Environment Protection Authority. Formerly, I worked with 200 Australian climate scientists at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes. I have also consulted with some of Australia’s largest energy companies, worked for WWF-Australia, and was a newspaper editor for 15 years at the two largest media organisations in Australia. When I’m not here for a laugh and a chat, I love going into rooms where I’m likely to encounter people who don’t think like me and engage in fascinating discussions in a civil way. I’ve met and made friends with people here I would never have otherwise met and listened bemused and amused in rooms that are completely outside my life and cultural experience.
