    Like a newborn day
    you seep the sieve
    of consciousness 
    A myriad of moments 
    are fresh bouquets plucked
    from the womb 
    where dreams gestate
    scented with promise
    You shine 
    as the daybreak that ripens
    Parted waves reveal 
    to me a realm anew
    Like lambs we tread
    doe eyed and dazed 
    in dawn drenched dew 
    with buckled limbs
    that heed the call 
    of nubile joy to gallop soon
    in meadows of our season
    Unafraid of falling 
    Unafraid to imagine 
    that this could be real
