My back ground has been in public safety. I hold a NFPA 1041 Level III Instructor accredited by IFSAC and ProBoard. I’m also accredited as a Chief Training Officer (CTO) by the Center of Public Safety Excellence. I stated flying drones in 2016 and obtained my Part 107 in February 2018. One of my responsibilities was working for the Office State Fire Marshal (OSFM) (retired) in North Carolina, I spent my time educating fire and rescue on the need to go part 107 and or Certificate of Authorization (COA) to fly legal in the NAS. I am recognized as a Drone Pro pro and FAAST member here in western North Carolina. In 2019, I left OSFM to work for Blue Ridge Mountain Drones (BRMD) as their Chief Pilot. The primary vision for BRMD is to teach the seated and virtual Part 107 classes to Public Safety and educators. To date, over 600 students have gone through our classes. 🚒🔥⛑🎿🚵🏻‍♀️
